  6. Send alpha-numeric messages to pagers.
  7. .description
  8. Allows one to send alpha-numeric (i.e., full text) messages to a pager from
  9. an Amiga.  This is accomplished by dialing into an IXO protocol compliant
  10. pager central and uploading messages.  Features include: Alias file for
  11. commonly paged people to be referred to by name rather than cryptic PIN
  12. numbers; "Groups" file allowing messages to be easily sent to many people
  13. working on the same project, in the same department, etc; Supports multiple
  14. pager centrals through a services configuration file; Full logging of
  15. messages spooled, dialout attempts, etc.  Includes sample rexx scripts to
  16. generating automatic messages, paging the current person on duty, etc.

  18. Version 1.4 incorporates a couple bug fixes from the last released version
  19. (1.2).  It also provides support for services which require a real password
  20. at login time.  This support will require you to update your services file.
